History
We started with an idea 4 years ago: To bring an authentic Mexican dessert to our neighborhood. Growing up in Mexico exposed us to original recipes; specially the Gazpacho Moreliano, a combination of mango, jicama, pineapple and cucumber mixed with tajin, lime and orange juice. A real treat that we could not find anywhere in Chicago. It started with that one product and escalated into a complete ice cream shop, cafe, natural juice and smoothie bar. We traveled to Mexico to be taught the secrets of making Mexican Paletas (fruit ice pops), for a whole week we were submerged in the science of making authentic paletas and ice cream.
