Ravinia Festival is a nonprofit organization that organizes concerts by several musical personalities, such as Pablo Casals, Tony Bennett, Sheryl Crow and Yo-Yo Ma. Operational for more than 100 years, Ravinia Festival is one of the oldest outdoor music festivals in North America. The festival attracts over 600,000 listeners to nearly 150 performers in the classical, jazz and theater music genres. Its 3,200-seat, open-air pavilion is the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and hosts a variety of musical productions, concert performances and operas. Ravinia Festival also provides a range of dining in facilities, such as the Park View Restaurant, Mirabelle, Ravinia Lawn Catering, L Caf and FanFare Carts. It offers a music integration program, MUSIC DISCOVERY, for elementary teachers and students of Chicago Public Schools. The Steans Institute for Young Artists is the Ravinia Festival's professional studies program for young musicians. Ravinia Festival is located in Highland Park, Ill.
