Northwest Community Healthcare has provided medical care to people in the northwest Chicago suburbs since 1959. The hospital has more than 560 beds, and provides a full range of medically advanced inpatient and outpatient services. Northwest Community also provides emergency medical treatment at three, 24-hour emergency treatment centers located in Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich and Schaumberg, Ill. Its cardiovascular and pulmonary services were one of only three cardiac health services programs in the state to receive an award. The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited the comprehensive community cancer care center. Northwest Community is also an orthopedic services provider. Women's and Children's Services at Northwest Community provides medical professionals, advanced medical technology, a focus on family-centered care and a commitment to keep women and children healthy. The hospital has delivered more than 100,000 babies.
