Peterson Pulaski Business and Industrial Council (PPBIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the retention and development of companies in five designated industrial corridors on the Northwest Side of Chicago. With the assistance of its members and the City of Chicago's Local Industrial Retention Initiative program, PPBIC offers a range of services including facilitating city services, marketing and public incentives, providing educational and networking opportunities, and advocating for the long-term vitality of the industrial corridors.
PPBIC has recently partnered with the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) to provide manufacturers in its service area with resources, grants, and opportunities for growth. Through personalized 1-on-1 meetings with IMEC staff, manufacturers can receive guidance on various topics such as leadership, strategy, customer engagement, operations, workforce, and measurement and results. PPBIC is committed to supporting the growth of industrial companies in Chicago and works closely with businesses to access city programs, services, and funding.
