Palatine Park District, located in Palatine, Ill., is a separate municipal governing agency established for the purpose of providing parks, facilities and recreational programs for the community. It is responsible for the maintenance, operation and administration of parks and parks facilities under its jurisdiction. The district provides a wide range of park and facilities, including George S. Clayson House Museum and Library, Cutting Hall, disc golf course, dog park, pools, Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, Palatine Hills Golf Course, Palatine Trial, skate park, stables and rentals. Palatine Park District offers various programs to visitors, such as arts and crafts, dance, gymnastics, performing arts, online registration, birthday parties, special events, fitness and athletic activities, and swim team.
