The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce assists and promotes the growth of businesses throughout a wide area southwest of Chicago, within and outside of Orland Park. Starting with 14 members in 1958, the chamber now has more than 600 different businesses and entities with active memberships.
The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce helps area businesses solve problems, and compiles and distributes an extensive directory to enhance communication. The chamber hosts several events throughout the year including business expos, educational seminars, networking events and a Christmas party.
The chamber office is known as the "little red school house," since it was one of the original school buildings used by District 135. The restored house was moved from its original site on 94th Avenue to its current home on 88th Avenue.
