Hannah Reed, WHNP, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She completed her medical training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Hannah sees patients ages 13 and above for various gynecological needs, including well-woman exams, prenatal and postnatal care, menopause, pelvic pain, infection screening and management, adolescent gynecology, and birth control counseling, including IUD and Nexplanon placement. Hannah has 14 years of experience working in women’s health, treating women from adolescence through post-menopause. She is passionate about women’s health, taking pride in providing her patients with a sense of security, knowing she always puts their concerns and overall health first. Hannah chose to specialize in women’s health following her experience as a labor and delivery nurse. Her mother is also a women’s health nurse practitioner, so she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Hannah is ecstatic to work in the same BJC Medical Group practice in Alton, where her mother worked for 11 years. Hannah is originally from Carrollton, Illinois, and lives in the Hillsboro, Illinois area. She loves fitness and spending time with her family at sporting and extracurricular activities. The BJC Outpatient Center at Edwardsville is located conveniently along Illinois 159, provides excellent care for you and your family, with the comfort and convenience of being close to home. BJC Medical Group physicians, specializing in primary care, orthopedics and sports medicine, gastroenterology, sleep medicine, and endocrinology see patients Monday through Friday. Walk-in convenient care is available to serve the community every day of the week. Children's Illinois, an affiliate of St. Louis Children's Hospital, therapy patients are seen Monday through Friday. Additionally, lab and radiology services are offered with a physician order.
