Nu-Metal Products, Inc was established in 1946 by Russel and Harold Weyland. Russel had returned from WWII after serving in the European Theatre with the 15th Army Air Corp as a B-24 Bombardier. The business began with a few Brown and Sharpe Screw Machines in their parents' garage on Henderson Street in Chicago. In 1954 after serving in the Korean War, William Weyland, Sr. joined his brothers at Nu-Metal. By then the business had relocated to its present location in Crystal Lake. Harold retired in 1972. Francene Weyland, Russel's widow, is the current owner and president. Their children, Tom, Cindee, and Tonee, work along with William Weyland, Jr. who after 30 years is the current Plant Manager. We pride ourselves in making quality precision parts for the last 57 years. We welcome the opportunity to serve you and look forward to quoting your requirements.
