Village Children's Academy

The Village Children's Academy has three locations, including the Hinsdale location, which is the newest. The center is conveniently located in the basement of the Hinsdale Medical Center building and is close to the commuter train. It offers a wide range of programs for children ages six weeks to 12 years, including preschool for two- to six-year-olds, summer camp and School's Out Camp for six- to 12-year-olds and enrichment classes in computers, music and tumbling. Village Children's Academy is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and its curriculum is based on the Illinois State Board of Education Preschool Teaching Standards.

Little Lambs Preschool

At Little Lambs Pre-School in Hinsdale, children are nurtured in a spiritual, creative environment where exciting adventures happen every day. The pre-school is part of the Hinsdale Adventist Academy and maintains a Christian focus in its daily mission. The youngsters will be journeying to Malta, IL, to enjoy the Jonamac Apple Orchard in mid-September. In October, the pre-schoolers will host their fathers for a "Take-Out" evening at school, which is when dads get to eat dinner with their pre-schooler and at the same time, get a close-up view of the classroom. A special Thanksgiving program is also planned for the holidays, as well as the annual Christmas tree decorating party. Little Lambs Pre-School is located at 631 E. Hickory St. in Hinsdale.
