Founded in 1907, the Mary Crane Center provides educational services to children up to the age of five. The center s curriculum focuses on the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. It also offers professional services to children with special needs. Located in Chicago, the Mary Crane Center is a member of the statewide network of pre-kindergarten schools in association with Chicago Public Schools. The center maintains several classrooms and its staff includes bilingual teachers. It provides food services to students and organizes field trips to various places, including parks and museums. The Mary Crane Center also conducts intergenerational and recreational programs.
