The MARC Center, located in Normal, Ill., is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. These disabilities include mental retardation, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. It also provides support to infants from birth to age eight who have a developmental disability or delay or who are at risk of delay. Its services and programs include employment programs, parent and child education programs, respite care, in-home caregiving, life skills programs, recreational programs and residential housing. The MARC Center is financially supported through its annual fund drive, individual and corporate donations and sponsorships, grants from private foundations and from the State of Illinois. The organization is accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership in Supports for People with Disabilities.
