History
Teaching is the main experience that set me on the path to consider blogging and coaching to pass on hard-earned financial lessons. The stress that comes from living with tight budgets is something I know well! I was a stay-at-home mom of three while also providing caregiving for aging parents. Although, I also worked part-time, living primarily on one income during those years was a struggle and really challenged my budgeting skills. However, we managed to live well and did not feel as though we sacrificed too much. I'm now called to share these skills through coaching.
Specialties
I hold a Certification in Financial Planning and Holistic Coaching. When I work with clients, I first assess where they are then I listen to where they want to be. Together, we develop a plan and work on the habits to convert the dreams to reality. Holistic coaching brings together both sides of the brain to build a cohesive financial plan that you can easily maintain. I specialize in coaching women experiencing transitional life events, such as divorce or spousal death. Money beliefs are deeply seated in our backgrounds. These beliefs can be blocks to us feeling able to build the financial security all of us deserve, particularly women.
