The Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center provides an educational program for gifted students in kindergarten through grade eight. The center offers courses in Latin for students in grades three through eight. It also offers classes in French, philosophy, literature, English, science, music, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. The Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center s students participate in various sports activities, such as cheerleading, tennis, volleyball and basketball. It encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities, including science, history and art fairs and dance events. The center also provides guidance counseling, academic intervention and skill assessment supportive services. Its staff includes teachers, psychologists, guidance counselors, lunchroom managers and bus coordinators. The Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center is located in Chicago.
