Roland Law Honored BP Amoco recognized Roland Law as one of the 25 semi-finalists for their 2006 Ultimate Golden Mechanic competition. Law Automotive History Howard Butch Law founded Law Automotive at its current location in 1971. The original, two-and-a-half bay shop was a one-mechanic operation specializing in engine repair and brakes as well as fuel and carburetion. Butch showcased his talents on race cars he owned, built and maintained, becoming well-known as one of the area's best mechanics. Butch's son, Roland Law, bought the business in 1994. An ASE certfied Master Technician, Roland, along with his wife, Stacy, updated the business, converting the shop to computerized technology and modern tools. They demolished the original shop in 1995 to make way for a new three bay facility. And in 2003, expanded to five bays. Roland continues the Law Automotive tradition his father began by personally servicing cars on a daily basis. He and Stacy, the office and business manager, lead a team of five full-time employees. Law Automotive is a sponsoring member of the International Automotive Technicians Network and a subscribing member of Identifix information systems. We are always looking for outstanding people to join our team. We pride ourselves on having a competitive edge by the people we employ. Our benefits include paid vacations and holidays, tool use exemptions, paid uniforms, health insurance, IRA plan and ongoing paid training.
