The Administration Department is a part of the village government of Lake in the Hills in Illinois. It prepares the annual budget on behalf of all village departments, as well as compiles agendas for various meetings. The department coordinates the Village's liquor licensing applications and economic development and public information activities. The Administration Department is responsible for a variety of business attraction and retention efforts in the village. The village government also includes several other departments, including community development, police, public works, and parks and recreation. Its finance department offers a range of services related to financial forecasting and budget and financial report preparation.
