Established in 1963, John F. Kennedy High School is located in Chicago. It serves more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers honors classes in English, social studies, science, mathematics and foreign languages. It also offers software applications, accounting and word processing classes for students. The school has a social sciences department offering courses in anthropology, economics, geography, government, history, philosophy, political science, psychology and sociology. It also offers band, orchestra and choir classes for students. Additionally, the school offers bilingual programs, studio art and driver education classes. Kennedy High School has a library media center, and also provides various sport activities, including football, hockey and tennis.
