History
Ingrid's Originals Inc. was formerly Ingrid's Originals which was established upon Ingrid's graduation from The American Academy of Art. Ingrid immediately began teaching watercolor classes and other various workshops in her former gallery in St. Charles, IL, drawing on her teaching skills from 17 years teaching in the public school system in the states and in Central and South America. In 1992 Ingrid moved to Chicago, and soon after, began teaching at the prestigious Palette and Chisel Academy of Art in Chicago. It was here that she built a following of students during her years teaching watercolor. She was the producer and director of Watercolor Expressions for four years, an exhibition of her students' work. The students not only learned how to paint for a gallery exhibition, but all of the details about photographing, framing, planning the invitation, the reception, how to hang the paintings in the gallery, gallery hours, and sales. A raffle was held to give to charity.
