Ralston Elementary School, constructed in 1959, is a learning center that serves approximately 475 students in first through sixth grades. It organizes a variety of cocurricular activities, including Four Square Writing, guided reading, spelling bee competitions, accelerated reader and reading recovery programs. The school also operates a literary society that supports spelling, reading and English contests. Ralston Elementary School s staff includes art professionals, physical education instructors, reading specialists, social workers, psychologists, special educators and speech therapists.
