Hardikkumar (Henry) Patel, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who sees patients ages 18 years and older. Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, followed by an internship and residency at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He completed an advanced heart failure fellowship at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by a general cardiology fellowship at the University of California in Irvine, California. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Patel provides treatment for a variety of heart conditions, including hardening of arteries, heart attacks, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, heart valve disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and chest pain. He performs comprehensive interventional cardiology procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, coronary stent placement, intravascular ultrasound, intracoronary flow measurement, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, thrombectomy, CardioMEMs, the Watchman procedure, echocardiograms and stress testing. Dr. Patel provides patient-focused care and values involving patients in their treatment decisions. He is passionate about diagnosing cardiovascular disease and helping others with life-saving interventional cardiology procedures and management of congestive heart failure. As cardiovascular diseases are one of the leading causes of death worldwide, Dr. Patel is dedicated to improving patient outcomes with safe, compassionate care.
