Located in the Union Stockyards in Chicago, Great Western Beef Company has been in business since 1907. Founded by James Joseph Ebzery, Great Western Beef Company has remained a family business for nearly 100 years. As our symbol read in 1907, "your guarantee of satisfaction, " that philosophy still remains the core of our business today. Great Western Beef Company is a USDA inspected ( #2534 ), portion control meat purveyor. When purchasing boxed beef, we only purchase from a few selective meat packers. These packers are located in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota. We purchase USDA corn fed cattle that is aged for a minimum of 21 days. This ensures that the meat yields the richest flavor and tenderness. After the meat is aged to perfection, it is then hand cut to the customer's specification. At Great Western Beef Company, we pride ourselves on delivering the finest products to our customers.
