History
It all started with a Chicago woman and a vision. Grandma Wood started Graphic Image Corporation, a small business specializing in typesetting, in 1953. After years went by, the business was then handed off to her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Jack Markasovic. Louise and Jack then ran the business of typesetting. To keep up with the times of constantly changing technology, Louise and Jack turned to their son, Frank. A young, innovative individual, Frank decided to gear Graphic Image towards the printing industry. Over the years Frank went from helping deliver packages and working production, to selling, creating and finalizing projects. He drove the business with his talent, creativity and hard work (not just his good looks as he claims). Frank has since taken over the reigns of Graphic Image and has served as the President and Owner of the fine Chicago printing establishment for over 25 years. His incredibly handsome son, Frankie, has since joined GIC to help with marketing.
