History

At the heart of any great country club lies a golf course of incomparable charm and challenge, one that engages a golfer at every level of consciousness. Preeminent architect Austin Clayssens designed such a golf course at Glen Flora Country Club. Established in 1911 and set among 120 exquisite acres in a serene setting know as Chicago's North Shore, the vision for the property was developed into a 6420 yard championship lay-out. The golf course is the centerpiece of Glen Flora and has been carefully sculpted to embrace the essence of a membership beholding to the ideals of the great game.

Exmoor Country Club

Exmoor Country Club, founded in 1896, is a family-oriented private membership club with more than 560 members. The club offers an 18-hole golf course, tennis court, driving range, pro shop, outdoor pool, and multicuisine restaurant and meeting room. The club also provides banquet hall for wedding celebration, private parties, corporate meetings and conference, and it can accommodate more than 300 people. It has more than 100 employees offering food and beverage service. It remains operational from May through November and is open from Tuesday to Sunday. The club organizes tournaments, parties and fun activities for its members. Exmoor Country Club is located in Highland Park, Ill.
