History
FugScreens came about through a desire to share the love of print-making with others. Having taught 12-16 yr olds on the South side of Chicago, the owner saw that the simple and effective outcomes of screen-printing could be shared by many. Since a studio was already present, which could facilitate teaching, FugScreens began advertising and slowly gained momentum through word of mouth. The owner (and teacher) enjoys creating work with others who bring their own perspective to an art form that has been around for thousands of years. Currently there are over 20 students enrolled. FugScreens is always looking to expand.
