The Franklin E. Loebe Recreation Center is named for Orland Park's former village treasurer of 65 years. Loebe was first appointed in 1929 and served until he retired in 1994, being the unofficial longest serving official in the history of the State of Illinois. Part of the award-winning Orland Park Village Center Complex, the Loebe Center is home to the village's pre-school program, one of the Recreation Department's longest running programs.
The Loebe Center also includes a full-sized gymnasium, dance studio, wrestling room and meeting rooms.
The administrative offices for the Recreation Department are located in the former police facility at 14600 South Ravinia Avenue. Program registration and building rentals are available at the Recreation Administration Center and at the Village of Orland Park Sportsplex at 11351 West 159th Street.
