Polo Community High School
Built in 1927, Polo Community High School provides classes in language arts, science, music, social science, math, and business and physical education. The school also offers foreign language classes in Spanish. It provides guidance counseling services and has a staff of a librarian, coordinator, counselor, secretary, assistant and aides. Polo Community High School has a library and media center that includes a variety of books, magazines and periodicals. It also offers opportunities to participate in various sports activities, such as football, volleyball, cross-country, golf, wrestling, and track and field. The school provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society (NHS), Future Farmers of America (FFA) and Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Located in Polo, Ill., Polo Community High School is governed by Polo Community Unit School District 222, which also operates an elementary and middle school.
