From its small beginning, Flying Food Group has grown to include more than 10 in-flight kitchens in the United States and one in-flight kitchen in Shanghai, China. The company serves more than 100 airlines. In addition to airline catering, Flying Food Group supplies prepared snacks, salads and meals for major grocery chains and specialty retailers. It also produces frozen meals. Flying Food Group began operations in 1983 at Chicago s Midway Airport. Headquartered in Chicago, the company has American locations in Seattle; San Francisco; Los Angeles; El Segundo, Calif.; Dallas; New York City; Newark, N.J.; Orlando, Fla.; and Miami.
