Flexible Steel Lacing Company, also known as Flexco, was founded in 1907 with the purchase of a patented fastener design (interlocking steel belt lacing) from Olof N. Tevander. Three years later the company went international with the sale of the alligator design to J.B. Stone of London. Now Flexible Steel Lacing Company has subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Germany, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The company is a manufacturer of belt conveyor fasteners and maintenance products designed to maximize conveyor uptime, productivity and safety. Flexible Steel Lacing Company is marketed through belting and industrial supply distributors worldwide.
