Fishing for Freedom - Quincy is an annual bass, catfish, and crappie tournament held in Quincy, Illinois. The event pairs active military personnel and veterans with professional anglers and local outdoorsmen for a day of fishing on local fisheries, including the Mighty Mississippi River and Mark Twain Lake. It aims to provide our warriors with a weekend full of entertainment and enjoyment of the great outdoors, including events such as fish fry, trapshooting, archery, live music, and a Heroes Banquet.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for citizens and businesses in Quincy and surrounding communities to honor and show appreciation to our veterans and active duty personnel. It is made possible by patriotic American sponsors and sportsmen who generously donate their time and money. Fishing for Freedom - Quincy is a heartfelt way to say thank you to our brave servicemen and women for their service and sacrifice in keeping our country free.
