Come visit Galena’s oldest tour house, The Dowling House, restored to its 1826 appearance. The 45 minute narrated tour touches on Galena, Mining, Dowling, and artifact history! Fun for all ages, adjoining gift shop and ticket office. Combo tickets available for the Belvedere Mansion Tour. Sorry but this historic property is not handicapped accessible. Currently closed for the season, reopening May of 2025.

We loved this tour! I can't remember the lady's name but she was amazing! Took the time to answer all our questions. Was well worth the $12 an adult! So glad we stumbled upon this!
