CKD USA was incorporated in 1985 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CKD Corporation, Komaki, Japan, with the primary responsibility of providing sales and technical support for the Americas. The company s main product offerings are pneumatic components, semi conductor process components, indexing units, chillers/dryers and general-purpose valves. These products are utilized in a variety of manufacturing environments, from the automotive industry to semiconductor manufacturing. Products were previously sold through a division of Miller Fluid Power, Bensenville, Ill., and the Wilkerson Corporation, Englewood, Colo. In April 2001, CKD Corporation divested itself of both Miller Fluid Power and the Wilkerson Corporation. At that time, CKD USA assumed full sales and support responsibility for these product lines.
