The Deerfield Montessori School was originally founded back in 1966 as a not-for-profit corporation, and since has grown to three other locations: Deerfield Montessori Children's House, Riverwoods Montessori School and Glenview Montessori School. The private, nonsectarian schools have been accredited by the American Montessori Society and follow its approach to childhood education.
