HistoryArt of Balance opened in January of 2017 with the mission of providing accessible mental health care to anyone who walks through our doors. We see clients who cannot afford treatment on a pro-bono basis and we also offer sliding scale sessions for those who can afford only a little. For those with insurance, we work to ensure that we can accept most, if not all, PPO insurances. For those with complicated health insurance plans, we can help you figure out the red tape and find the best treatment options for you. We also have a staff with a wide range of specialties, including but not limited to: chronic illness/health psychology, art therapy, LGBT services, women's issues, spiritual concerns, trauma, multicultural concerns, couples counseling, family therapy, group therapy, and adolescent treatment. We are in network with most PPO insurance providers and also offer sliding scale payment options for those who do not have health insurance, have HMO health insurance, or cannot otherwise afford mental health treatment.
