Inbar Kirson, MD, FACOG
Dr. Kirson has a passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to educating her patients and the community on leading a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Kirson has been seen all around the Chicago area giving seminars and lectures focusing on how to use food as your best medicine. She extends this love for teaching to her everyday encounters with patients using picture diagrams and detailed explanations to empower patients with knowledge and to ensure their understanding of what is happening in their body. Dr. Kirson earned her medical degree at Rush University Medical Center and completed her residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology where she earned numerous awards for her compassion, excellence in care and teamwork in the treatment of patients. Dr. Kirson went on to pursue advanced training and education in Obesity Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Kirson combines her 20 plus years of clinical experience with her passion for improving metabolic wellness to help every patient achieve their optimal health. She has a special interest in helping women with metabolic difficulties related to PCOS, menopause, postpartum weight loss, and the various stages in a womans life.Fun Fact: Dr. Kirson was born in Haifa, Israel, where the delivering Ob/Gyn Fellow later became her Maternal Fetal Medicine Attending in Residency at Lutheran General Hospital it is indeed a small world!
