Christ Lutheran Church of Clarendon Hills has been actively spreading its ministry throughout the western suburbs since 1952. In October, CLC hosts an annual CropWalk, in which a network of local churches and their members walk to help eradicate worldwide hunger. After the CropWalk, in early November, the church sponsors a coat exchange for people in the community whose families need gently used outerwear before winter. CLC also sponsors a Driver's License Blessing Service for teens or anyone else who is learning to drive. Church members are actively involved in volunteering for PADS, the area homeless shelter, and summer mission trips. The church also runs a pre-school for children ages 2 to 6.
