History
Chillicothe Christian Church was started by three families meeting in a home in November 1964. CCC later moved to Pearce Grade School (now Pearce Community Center) and grew to 30 people. On June 19, 1967, the congregation purchased three acres of land on Frances Street which is still its home today (over 40 years later). It wasn't long before a parsonage was built (November 1968) and a church building was completed (July 1973). Our new addition which includes offices, foyer, multi-purpose room and a kids church area was dedicated on October 2007. Even though we come from an exciting past...we believe our greatest days are ahead of us! More and more people are discovering a personal relationship with Jesus and are making CCC their church.
