Channahon Public Schools

Kruse Education Center is an elementary school that offers academic programs to more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The center offers classes for reading, physical and special education, music, language arts, English, math, science and social studies. Kruse Education Center also has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors various fundraising events and activities. The center offers include golf, shuffleboard, aerobic dance, cooperative games and physical fitness classes. Kruse Education Center s facilities include a media center that provides more than 18,000 books, magazines and journals. The center employs a speech pathologist who assists students in developing good speech and language skills and provides treatment for articulation, receptive language, expressive language, fluency and communication-related difficulties. Kruse Education Center is a part of Community Consolidated School District 146 and is located in Orland Park, Ill.
