Central High School serves more than 400 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, foreign languages, science, social studies and math. It also includes art, music, computers and physical education. Students are selected for honors classes based on the scores of the of Stanford test. The students are introduced to various arts, such as acting, sets design, costumes, lights, sound and make-up. In addition to this, students are also taught photography, design, ceramics and drawing. Students who are 16 and attain junior status may enroll in college courses at Kankakee Community College. Based in Clifton, Ill., the school is a part of the Central Community Unit School District.
