Center for Research Libraries is a consortium of North American universities, colleges and independent research libraries. The group acquires and preserves newspapers, journals, documents, archives and other traditional and digital resources for research and teaching. The center provides these resources to member institutions through interlibrary loan and electronic delivery. It supports research and teaching in the humanities, sciences and social sciences. The center s collection includes doctoral dissertations, African-American newspapers and the 100,000-plus-page archive of Cambodia's Khmer Rouge security force. It has newspapers of various categories, such as domestic, foreign and newspapers on demand. The center offers a collection of over 330,000 monographs in several areas, including the history of science, medicine and technology. Center for Research Libraries is located in Chicago.
