Carle Park, established in 1909, is Urbana's third oldest park located at 400 W. Indiana Ave. The park features a historic pavilion, playground, practice soccer field, and over 50 well-established trees including the largest English Oak in Illinois.
Donated by Mrs. Margaret Carle Morris in memory of her first husband, Albert G. Carle, Carle Park is also home to Lorado Taft's Lincoln the Lawyer bronze statue. Amenities at the park include drinking fountains, Hickman Tree Walk, sand volleyball, sculpture, soccer goal, and free WiFi at the Carle Pavilion.
