Campus Comics was founded in 1983 by Dennis McCord. Originally located on Illinois Ave. (The Strip) not much more than 100 ft. from the campus of Southern Illinois University, hence our name. In January, 2004, we relocated to our current location but kept the name because... 30+ years of history. Why mess with that? Upon Dennis' retirement in June, 2016, long-time associate and store fixture, Mike Noe, purchased the shop. So here we are! Come see us!

We have been Southern Illinois' local comic shop since 1983. We offer a large variety of comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, collecting supplies, and a whole lot more! We offer a subscription pull service and a friendly atmosphere for all your nerd culture needs!
