My inspiration for this restaurant was Southern Style Bar-B-Q. While spending my childhood summers in Mississippi my family often hosted outings and barbeques. This was an event where family and friends came together to spend quality time and to eat great food. I instantly fell in love with the art of making Bar-B-Q, that I just had to bring this great style of cooking to the Westside of Chicago. - Ken Johnson
