History
For over 35 years, the Bob Lindsay name has been synonymous with automotive sales and service excellence. It all started with the Lindsay Auto Center in Galesburg, where in 1974, Bob Lindsay Jr. joined his father in the mangement and operation of his first dealership. Bob soon established himself and the dealership as contenters in the Central Illinois car market. Today Bob's son, Jim Lindsay, is the proud to honor his family's legacy, which now includes Bob Lindsay Cars in Galesburg, plus 2 Peoria locations: Bob Lindsay Honda on Pioneer Parkway and Bob Lindsay Acura on Allen Road. Opened in July of 2008, Bob Lindsay Acura has not only introduced the entire line of Acura cars to Peoria and its surrounding communities, but also provided a new, local home for Acura owners who previously had to take their vehicles to Chicago or St. Louis for service. We are honored that the Bob Lindsay organization was selected to be the only Acura dealer in Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa.
