Bloomingdale's local library since 1974.Bloomingdale Public Library is in Bloomingdale, IL and also serves the West Suburbs of Chicago. They opened in 1974 and progressed from two trailers to a state-of-the-art facility. For residents of the area, a library card is free. They have a staff of over 60 and are open seven days a week for most of the year. The library serves all ages, from small children to older adults.
