Rockford Christian Schools, also known as RCS, is a private college preparatory educational institution that offers a range of academic options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Founded in 1961, the district governs Rockford Christian Elementary School and Rockford Christian High School. Its schools curricula include language arts, math, Bible, science, social studies, music, physical education, art and Spanish. Rockford Christian Schools has an enrollment of more than 1,150 students. The district s schools administer an accelerated reader program, as well as maintain gymnasiums, booster clubs, libraries and computer laboratories. Its schools offer food and guidance counseling services. Rockford Christian Schools maintains a staff of over 125 full- and part-time employees.
