Beaver Oil Company is a full-service treatment and recycling company that operates plants in Hodgkins, Ill., and Gary, Ind. Its Hodgkins plant routinely receives and processes more than 100,000 gallons of liquid waste per day. In addition to holding permits for a wide range of non-hazardous wastes, Hodgkins is also permitted under RCRA to accept hazardous wastes. Hazardous wastes accepted include flammable, corrosive and listed wastes. On the non-hazardous side, Beaver Oil accepts all types of aqueous and oil bearing streams, soaps and cosmetics, latex and inks and other contaminated liquids. The company s customer base includes most of the petroleum companies and major automobile manufacturers. Beaver's completed projects range from refinery shutdowns, cleaning millions of gallons of waste, to salvaging rejected retail products packaged in quart bottles.
