History

The Aurora Sportsmen's Club began in Sugar Grove, Illinois in 1948 and moved to a significantly larger facility in Waterman, Illinois in 2010.

Specialties

Aurora Sportsmen's Club is a 268 acre private shooting club open for membership that offers significant public programming. ASC offers extensive pistol/rifle ranges include four 50-foot bays, three 25-yard bays, and one each 50-, 100-, 200- and 600-yard bays. Regularly scheduled events include 3-Gun, 2-Gun, practical rifle, precision practical rifle, IDPA, Cowboy Action, black powder, Bullseye shooting, our Annual Zombie Shoot and more. There's even a mortar/canon group. There are also nine dedicated action shooting sports ranges and two dedicated training ranges. The Shotgun Sports department has a double trap field, two single trap fields, two skeet fields, Five Stand and Sporting Clays. There are also stocked fishing ponds, 3-D Archery, a small golf driving range and some limited hunting opportunities.

Established in 1947, The Frankfort Sportsman Club is an organization dedicated to the promotion of shotgun sports and the safe use of firearms. Located in Mokena, the Club offers members use of its five trap fields, skeet field, and five-stand field.
