Alleman High School
Founded in 1949, Alleman High School is a Catholic educational community operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria. The school s enrollment is more than 490 students, with equal ratio amongst boys and girls. Its curriculum offers a wide range of courses, including business, computer science, English, fine arts, foreign language, mathematics, physical education and health, religion, science, and social studies. Alleman High School is accredited by state of Illinois, and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The school also provides various athletics programs, including cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, baseball, volleyball and wrestling. Additionally, it offers students extracurricular and recreational activities through several clubs, such as ambassadors, international club, key club, library aides, sigma alpha delta, and upward down.
