Founded in 1968, ASPIRA is a nonprofit organization that serves children and youths. The organization conducts academic tutoring sessions in math, reading and computer skills for students in grades four through eight. It operates the Miguel del Valle Youth Development Center that provides career counseling and financial assistance programs for higher education. ASPIRA also operates the Antonia Pantoja High School, which serves youths between the ages of 16 and 21. The organization works in collaboration with various health care providers, public schools, higher education institutions and government agencies. It additionally offers various recreational and cultural art activities. With a location in Chicago, ASPIRA organizes intellectual and leadership skills development programs
