Growing Place preschool was organized, incorporated, and licensed as a result of a great deal of hard work and dedication by the parents of preschool age children. At Growing Place Preschool is a nonprofit, cooperative between parents and educators; a preschool where open dialog and new ideas are welcomed in accordance with its continued excellence. Parents are given the chance to observe their child's interaction with peers of similar developmental levels. Creative materials and equipment in the classroom become a good resource for ideas that can be incorporated into the child's routine at home. With hands on participation in the classroom, parents may find themselves with a renewed understanding, respect and appreciation for their child. Growing Place is located in Dekalb, Ill.
