Founded in 1915, Antioch Community High School is a four-year high school serving more than 1,700 students. It offers classes from kindergarten grades nine through 12 and is governed by Community High School District 117. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. Antioch Community High School provides various extracurricular activities, such as bands, choirs, music, arts and crafts, and operates clubs, including animation and environmental club, German club, math team, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and student committee. It additionally offers a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, track, basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, swimming, wrestling and softball. Located in Antioch, Ill., the school has a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab. It is a member of Illinois High School Association.
